I love painting greyhounds I think it's their beautiful faces with their big dark eyes and their lovely long athletic legs. I just wish my dogs would all pile in together like this in a cosy mess on the sofa but they like their own space so sit as far apart from each other as they can.
These three hounds have been painted on a 18 x 24 inch stretched canvas with acrylic paint and mixed media, the edges are painted pink and it is unframed and ready to hang.
I wanted to create a relaxed harmonious compostition using soft colouring and loose brush strokes to keep the piece fresh and lively.
