A while after visiting an antiques centre I felt the urge to paint this kitty going for a ride, I just love those old airedale terriers on wheel, they are often found in antique shops all moth bitten and a bit shabby but they bring back lovely feelings of nostalgia...just for the record I had a donkey on wheels.
This speed freak feline has been painted with acrylics on a circular board 12 x 12inches and it has been sanded and distressed then given a washed out appearance with a glaze, the edges are black and it is ready to hang.
This is a fun piece especially for those who love cats or have a soft spot for the old days.
