This month we sadly lost one of the greatest and most influential British artists of the 20th and 21st century David Hockney. He was a trail blazer and encouraged artists to not to be intimidated by any rules and just create what was in their hearts. He loved painting, he loved his life, he loved men and of course he loved his dachshunds! 
This is my tribute to him.
I've used acrylic paints on gessoed panel, sealed with satin varnish and framed them in an upcylcled and waxed wooden frame.
Measurements are: W47 x H30 x D2cm
