Meet Maud she is a bit of a nosey neighbour and part of a collection of work looking at the relationship of cats in their home enviroment with patterned wallpaper backdrops and steely stares. Maud has been painted on a 12 x 12 inch cradled wooden panel and is ready to hang.
I have used a combination of crayon, paint and scratches to enrich and add interest to this artwork. The overall tone is quite light and pastel so I've painted the edges of the panel in a bright pink of which you get a satisfying glimpse when you walk by. For protection it has been sealed with satin varnish.
It is framed, signed on the back and ready to hang.
